Keyshia Cole’s cliched lyric over a cheating man strikes yet again on ‘Woman to Woman’, a duet with fellow R&B songstress Ashanti.

The song is lifted from Cole’s new album of the same name, which will drop in stores November 19th. Nobody gets their wig ripped out, which would have made for an interesting song. Rather than mess each other up for having a relationship with the same man, the pair have a heart to heart about how they plan to deal with the awkward situation.

Over a light piano melody and soft basslines, ‘Woman to Woman’ is a soulful, R&B midtempo with an exchange that keeps the listener engaged in their sisterly bond. It may even leave R&B listeners barking for more (song duration is too short) especially those who were left bitterly disappointed by Brandy and Monica’s ‘It All Belongs to Me’ earlier this year.
