RCA announces that the official follow-up single to Christina Aguilera‘s ‘Your Body’, will be the Blake Shelton-assisted duet ‘Just a Fool.’

Maybe she will release the fan favourite ‘Let There Be Love’ as the third single. She’d be ‘just a fool’ not to. It’s become quite apparent that she hardly ever releases uptempo songs back to back after a leading single.

It’s not a bad song. It’s just not follow-up single worthy. But then again, country music is huge within its territory and Shelton has quite a large following. That much can be said for the simple fact that the Claude Kelly-penned cut currently sits at #13 on the worldwide iTunes chart without any promotional push.

Maybe this was the right decision to further push Aggy’s flagging new album ‘Lotus’. In time, we shall see.
