New Music: Will.i.am feat. Britney Spears – ‘Scream & Shout’…

The long-awaited Will.i.am and Britney Spears duet, ‘Scream & Shout’ has finally leaked! But it won’t officially debut until Monday at noon on KIIS FM.

‘Scream & Shout’ serves as their second collaboration since ‘Big Fat Bass.’ Spears goes back to reusing her trademark ‘Gimme More’ phrase: ‘It’s Britney Bitch.’ She adopts a British accent for the fun, synthy club record but fans will be disappointed to discover she doesn’t have a real solo.

“When you hear this in the club, you’re gonna turn this shit up” she sings through a thick cluster of auto-tune. The track is of course a typical Will.I.Am beat, albeit, not a very good one.

Hopefully, the upcoming music video makes up for it. According to exaggerated reports, she “danced like crazy”. Hmmm, I’ll believe that when I actually see it.

According to Billboard, the music video will premiere on Thanksgiving during The X Factor. Thanks B. Scott.

Will.I.Am had gold in his hands when she agreed to do this but he totally destroyed this track. it’s so generic – which is something i usually don’t tend to say about Britney. disappointing. I’m a huge Britney fan, but this is just trash.

I just dont know if Will knows how to make hits. He flops repeatedly every time he does something without the BEP. This song will get attention because of the Britney assisted video, but its not a great song. That being said, I love Britney and she should do a remix with her own verses.

Loving Britney being not being autotuned to death – she may not be the best singer, but she’s a vocal actress, she’s invincible in the recording booth and her pre-chorus definitely proves that. Britishney was serving me life and her harmonies during the chorus are great.

I THINK this is a demo, but I’m not sure…and naturally, the song will sound a lot better on radio where it’ll sound sped up. will.i.am is just will.i.am at this point – just kinda there. At least his verses in this aren’t as cringeworthy as some of his other stuff.

Its simple I agree, but if it was auto tuned we’d also have problem. I thinks its a cool catchy song, def on repeat. Besides its godney, what she touches turns to gold, it’ll be a hit, can’t wait for music video. And u rite Toya I wanna see if she really danced like crazy, fingers crossed
