With the UK currently suffering from flooding, some of that British rain came down through a leaky X Factor roof and gave Rihanna a real good soaking during her ‘Diamonds’ performance earlier tonight.

At first it was just studio effects, until the last part of the performance which saw Rihanna become drenched for real.

The rain was a nice touch because right now she really is pissing down on her peers, and that includes some of your faves. Case in point, her latest album, ‘Unapologetic’, has debuted at the very top of the UK Albums Chart, with UK sales of almost 100,000 copies this week.

Sanging for her bread and butter, the singer rocked a stunning sheer lace dress and magenta lipstick. ‘Unapologetic’ serves as Rihanna’s third consecutive UK Number 1 album! This latest feat also sees Rihanna equalling Madonna‘s chart record for female artist with the most consecutive Number 1 albums!

This week also saw Rihanna tie with Madonna yet again in the US after ‘Diamonds’ became her twelfth #1 song on the Billboard Hot 100, among other artists with the most hits on the chart. Pow!
