R&B chicks Elle Varner and Keyshia Cole hit the stage at the BET annual Soul Train Awards to support their new singles.

Elle rocked a black leather suit that clung to her curves as she performed latest single ‘Refill’ at the ceremony, which was broadcast last night.
She also took home the award for Best New Artist, which I must admit, she was very deserving of. Her album was real nice. Check out what she served up with the performance below.
Sang it girl. Chick was really showing us how it should be done, delivering vocals that sound better than the studio recording. That is very rare especially for a new artist.
Keyshia also performed her latest single ‘Trust & Believe’:
Keyshia always sounds like she’s struggling. She also felt a little iffy about performing at Black Girls Rock because in her words, and I quote “I’m biracial” although she was raised by blacks and is not 100% sure who her father is (Alicia Keys who also performed there in previous years is a well acknowledged biracial raised by a white mother and had no qualms about performing there whatsoever). Some people say the dumbest sh*t.
I wonder if she felt iffy about performing at Soul Train, despite her music only catering to urban audiences.
