Festive Queen Mariah Carey sparkled and glimmered at the pre-taping of her performance for the Rockefeller Center ‘Christmas Tree Lighting’ ceremony.
The event, held at Rockerfeller Plaza on in New York City, saw the 42-year-old diva brave freezing temperatures as she rocked two PAVONI custom ensembles. One was a custom silver crystal embellished gown with sheer detailing and the other was a red hand crystal beaded organza and tulle cocktail dress.
During the pre-taping, Mimi performed her 18-year-old Christmas hit ‘All I Want for Christmas is You’ as well as her new Christmas single ‘Christmas Time Is The Air Again.’ Both of those performances can be watched below via some fan footage.
Considering that she was performining in chilly atmospheres, her belts weren’t perfect but still breathtaking. I see she decided to ditch the Jenny Craig diet too. Just as well really. Christmas is just around the corner, and those mince pies, as well as other Christmas delights could very well be difficult to resist. Her curvy self definitely looks ravishing in that silver dress.
