Colourful reality star Tamar Braxton has just serviced her new single, ‘Love and War’ to iTunes in its entirety, and it’s a winner!
If you click on the photo, you can download the song from the iTunes store. The singer, often known for her over-the-top personality, shows us her emotional side on the Lashawn Daniels-produced power ballad, which involves battling the ups and downs of a tumultuous relationship.
Take a listen to it below.
Noticeably ‘Love and War’ has strikingly similar production and melody to that of Keyshia Cole‘s ‘Trust & Believe’. Aside from the obvious recycle, Tamar delivers an extremely outstanding vocal styling reminiscent to that of heyday Mariah Carey, as well as her own sister Toni.
Those that have followed Tamar’s musical journey will know that the girl has serious vocal chops for days (just listen to her JD-produced debut album and the ballads on that, specifically ‘If You Don’t Wanna Love Me’ and ‘I’m Over You’). This song makes me really excited for her new album, in which this track serves as its lead single. Watch this space!
