R&B superstar Usher took over the entire episode of BET’s ’106 & Park’ last night, to talk about his career and accomplishments with guests Miguel, Rico Love, and facetime callers Pharrell Williams, Ludacris and Diplo.

As an R&B legend that’s been in the game for 20 years, Miguel was only too happy to honour the singer. The two of them are up for Best R&B Performance at the Grammy Awards on February 10th for their hit singles ‘Climax’ and ‘Adorn’, respectively.

Discussion included his impressive back catalogue of hits, latest album ‘Looking 4 Myself’, growing up in the spotlight, his first video shoot, being inspired by late icons Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston and his obsession for THOSE red sneakers. You can watch Usher being tributed in the playlist below.

The last record I throughly enjoyed from Usher through and through was his 10x platinum selling album ‘Confessions.’ His poppier offerings have done nothing for me and I’ve been a devoted follower of his music since ‘My Way’ during my high school years. However, the man certainly has accomplished a lot in his career so with this tribute, he deserved his dues.
