Watch: Tamar Braxton’s pitchy performance on ‘Wendy Williams’…

With her new single ‘Love & War’ hitting #1 on iTunes last week, Tamar Braxton performs the heartfelt ballad on ‘The Wendy Williams Show.’

I half joked about the possibility that her husband Vince did an Irv Gotti and paid for her chart position. It sounds farfetched I know but it went without notice that the track received no promotion or radio airplay and STILL topped iTunes in less than 24 hours. Now the track is no longer in the top 20.

As she took to the stage to deliver those live vocals, it was evident that the 35-year-old was dead nervous and there were several shaky and pitchy moments throughout this performance. She can sang her ass off but she had better showings such as her rehearsal showcase. We still love her though!

I was going to trash her because Wendy’s show is pathetic, but after this performance I’m glad she didn’t go to another show before rehearsing harder.

If this was the first time I’d heard the song, I wouldn’t have liked this. She was not hitting those notes right.

Uhm, it’s climbed back into the top 20 to #19. Keep up, you flop.

Gotta keep up Toya. The track received lots of airplay on its debut date (hourly). Simple research would show you that. It was all over Google news.

She needs to keep doing performances, cuz this one performance got her back to number 19, even though her voice was a little shaky. And she still kinda slayed most people’s favs.

Considering Wendy’s show is taped in the morning, Tamar’s performance was very solid. You can tell she was a little nervous and seemed a little shy. The personality she has on her TV show needs to be the attitude she brings to the stage.

I think she was shaky only because she needed to sit down. I mean she’s always saying on her show with Vince that she needs be to sitting down when she belts out the high notes whenever she was in the recording studio. I know that because she did amazing on “The Couch” and she was sitting on a stool.
