Power belter Leona Lewis took to the stage on the Spanish version of hit show The Voice, ‘La Voz’ last night. She was more than “happy” to perform her latest single on the show’s semi finals, and even sung with contestants for a selected number.

Had the label have chosen ‘Glassheart’ as the first single, they may have received a better end result (I don’t even like the song but I know when something has hit potential written all over it). It’s a real shame that the label would let her star power fade away this fast.

She performs her songs well, but this era has been such a flop for her so far and she’s not seeing eye to eye with the label either (she wanted ‘Fireflies’, they opted for ‘Lovebird’). I’m also being generous with the ‘so far’ because I’m not even sure if Syco will be able to turn things around or if they even know where else to go with the project (a very solid and consistent album at that). Huge shame.
