In anticipation of the December 20th release date, JoJo has released streaming links of her new mixtape ‘Agapé.’ The mixtape features cuts, ‘Andre’ and ‘We Get By.’

JoJo has always been a forced to be reckoned with but this mixtape just takes her image to another level. Pure ecstasy. Take a listen to what is surely one of the best mixtapes of 2012.

Where’s the actual stream link?! I spoke with her yesterday on twitter. She confirmed that she’s in that seven deal deep situation with NO TIME LIMIT. It’s so obvious that Blackground is being very petty and doing this to be pissy. To think, at one time in my life they were my favorite label.

Anyways. Congrats on this accomplishment Joanna. You deserve it!

The moody production is neo-soul meets Shebib 40, as some of its beats have that Drake influence. The track ‘Billions’ is a real stand out, and while this is not her best work to date, the production is nice for what it is. More full length tracks would have been nice outside of the ones we’ve already heard. Until Blackground get their act together and stop playing russian roulette with this girl’s career, we’ll have to take what we can get.

  That’s the shade, Blackground will NEVER get their shit together. Clearly, they’ve demonstrated that in 2012 they don’t even respect the legacy of Aaliyah. If they can’t respect their flagship, what makes us think they could’ve ever handle JoJo or Toni?

The collection consists of six full length cuts, two half-length numbers and five interludes making it more EP-ish than of mixtape standard.

Man I cannot wait to review this. I was going to do Solange, but I would much rather do this. It reminds me a lot of Lauren Hill glazed in 2012 donuts. Amazing.
