New Music: Kelly Rowland – ‘Number One’…

Fresh off a shaky performance on ‘VH1 Divas’, Kelly Rowland‘s new song ‘Number One’ has just hit online shores today, and we’re absolutely loving it. K. Row is bringing back that brilliantly sensual R&B to the forefront and she’s doing it the CORRECT way.

‘Number One’ appears on the mixtape of producer Mike WiLL Made-It called ‘Est. in 1999 Pt. 2′, and we feel urban radio will eat it up! Kelly confirmed on twitter yesterday that the song will also make an appearance on her upcoming new album ‘Year of the Woman’ in 2013 as well.

The sexy number sees Kelly confidently singing about being her man’s one and only. Kelly has really nice vocals on the song. However, it’s just as well it’s not an official single because she may not be able to pull off those same vocals when it’s time to sing it live.

Okay THANK YOU Toyasworld!!! This song is AMAZINGGGG!!! I hate the fact that u act like Kelly can’t sing live at all while you were stanning for her Fantasy performance and This Chrismas performance w/ michael buble.. Kelly can sing her ass off, everybody has bad performance. Oh and even Kelly’s worse vocals will always sound better than rihanna just saying. I find it weird taht u are so all up Rihanna’s ass when she happens to be one of the LEAST talented artists in the industry.

  Kelly is one of the most inconsistent singers out there right next to Rihanna however at least Rihanna has shown vocal growth this era pretty much all of her performances have been spot on this era.
  
  And no Kelly’s worst vocal is not better than Rihanna’s best try again as that comment was far from factual. Kelly’s voice sounds heavy and too deep most times when she’s singing however there are times when she does amazing and that Christmas performance with Michael B. is a great example but that’s an exception not the norm with Kelly.

she is not bad at all singing live she just needs a better earpeirce and needs to include more of the higher belted notes, it is harder to sing the softer one’s because you cant hear your self singing.

Kelly has a beautiful voice, i honestly don’t think she sounded bad on Diva’s but it wasn’t her best either… she has shown growth, but i don’t feel she takes any risks… with that said, i enjoyed this song a lot! and i want more

“Number One” sounds epic but “Unity” is still the greatest song by Kelly Rowland ! Still a huge hit in Australia.
