Snapshot: Beyonce gets ‘ratchet’ as new music details pour in…

She’s coming! Beyonce gets in touch with her inner thug diva in this latest snap that was posted on her Instagram earlier today. In the snap, Beyonce is rocking some earrings, with the word ‘Ratchet’ embedded inside. The fact that this is the second photo she has posted of the earring has sharp eyed fans believing she is sending serious hints about her new music. A few months ago, Lady Gaga told fans on her own website that she wrote a song with Azealia Banks called ‘Ratchet’ which would feature a female collaborator. Along with that admission came a photo of Gaga wearing the exact same ‘Ratchet’ earrings. Excited fans are now believing that Beyonce and Gaga have collaborated once again for their new eras. Personally, I think it’s all too good to be true and the disappointment will kick in once it’s discovered that this is all just a big fat (rather smart) coincidence, but who knows? In more speculation, rumour is rife that two new Beyoncé songs are being tested across several Top 40 stations.

‘Rollercoaster’ is allegedly an electro-house song by The Cataracs with Miguel serving as the male collaborator. The other rumoured song is ‘Twelve Roses’, a pounding pop, mid-tempo ballad helmed by Stargate and Sia Furler (the two forces behind Rihanna‘s smash hit ‘Diamonds’). Sending two different songs to radio is a given possibility that she might be trying to rehash the Sasha Fierce era. Bear in mind, all this is speculation so don’t take it for gospel just yet. Not to put a dampener on all this buzz, but a part of me is thinking it’s fake. Song titles at this stage are not usually disclosed so prematurely and Beyonce is a pro when it comes to keeping things underwraps. Her team does not play when it comes to her marketing and PR, so you’d think they’d save it for the massive press release in the coming weeks. Actually, I still think that’s the case.

But rumour or not, it’s still exciting that so much Beyonce scoop is pouring in. Tomorrow night, she will play a new years eve gig live at the Wynn Theater on December 31st. Her dancers are already posting pics of the rehearsal on Twitter (none of which include Beyonce of course). The gig is private so there’s no guarantee that we’ll get videos or photos but her comeback truly is in full force.

This sounds fake. Why would Miguel do a pop song? The other song might be true. I’d wanna copy Rihanna’s music too. Hits on hits. I mean lets face it beyonce is a flop ATM no matter what her fans say. Pop radio ain’t waiting for her.

  sacrifice but you definitely have a point. I imagined their song being
  alt-urban and not trashy electronic-house music. If true tho, it

    Beyonce isn’t jumping on a bandwagon since she’s done electro-pop songs before with Radio, Sweet Dreams, and the unreleased song Control…and you believe everything your followers say? I thought you was better then that…that fact that you’re judging the ENTIRE 5th album project based on RUMORS is sad and says a lot about you Toya.
    
    And Beyonce worked with Sia before Rihanna…Sia submitted songs for 4, and Sia was recording with Beyonce in June 2012, before Sia and Rihanna started working on Diamonds

      I’m not judging the album at all. I have not heard it. I said IF it’s true. She does not want to flop this era so I believe she’ll be going that route. Yes, she’s done electropop but never released them as lead singles and she has never done any songs with house influences. That is actually a new for her. But we shall see.

      Did the songs with Sia end up on the album though? No! But of course she would want Sia again because of how big Sia has become recently (Titanium, Wild ones, Diamonds, Let me love you, etc). So don’t even try to inadvertently throw shade at Rih. K, thx, bye!

@toya well in her defense she can’t get a hit with anything she’s put out before. Urban songs don’t crossover like they used too. None of her #1 hits (except maybe Irreplaceable) would be hits today as they would strictly be urban hits. However that doesn’t mean she needs to do electro pop so yeah it’s pretty sad.

Whatever song Beyonce did with Stargate and Sia was done months ago, actually before Rihanna did Diamonds. Sia hinted it since the summer.

Toya what do you mean she only cares about money? She released a solid album with 4, you all called it a flop. Now she’s going commercial and she doesn’t care about her music? Wow!

  Honestly speaking, the album “4″ wasn’t as solid as it should have been. Even if the sales made it so, it’s a album that gets tiring of listening to (for me at least).

Funny how ppl are saying Bey is just trying to work w/Sia NOW that Ri got the huge hit “Diamonds” however, it was mentioned WAY BEFORE anything came out about Ri’s Diamonds and that Ri had worked w/Sia it was reported Beyonce was already working w/Sia along w/Cataracs so that notion is a NO GO I heard about this sia stuff even before Ri announced her 7th album so….. Either way I’m EXCITED
