And it begins! HBO have just released an official extended trailer for Beyoncé‘s upcoming HBO documentary. The 85-second teaser shows the singer giving us a rare glimpse into her life as she opens up about everything from career pressures to her pregnancy. The upcoming special now has an official title, which goes by the name, ‘Life Is But A Dream’. The whole point of the documentary is to prove that despite being one of the world’s biggest superstars, she is still a normal person.
“People see celebrities, and they have money and fame, but I’m a human being,” she adds. “I cry. I get scared. I get nervous just like everyone else”. PR statement of the century. “Oh, I’m human too!” So cliche! There are normal people out there who struggle and work just as hard as she does, but don’t receive the mass accolades and admiration. They’re human too, by the way. I just find those statements to be really condescending. However, if you can’t wait to see what else she opens up to in this overly scripted piece, be sure to catch ‘Life Is But A Dream’ on February 16th.
