Mariah definitely needed american idol to restore some interest in her because it wasn’t even like triumphant just didn’t do well it BOMBED and didn’t even chart. This ballad is going to have to be out of the park amazing to get the momentum going for a successful album. I personally wish mariah would just except her legend status and go to vegas and live out the rest of her career but she wants to insert herself into this generation and not just remain relevant but still be at the top. She did it with emancipation but the industry has gone to a much different place where talent isn’t the first thing ppl respond too anymore. I just wish her luck and hope she succeeds but at the same time reality is reality ..
