Watch: Beyoncé & Destiny’s Child SLAY Super Bowl XLVII…

Beyoncé silenced her critics when she slayed the entire house down at tonight’s Super Bowl. Her feat also meant that she became only the third female solo act to headline the Super Bowl halftime show in its 47th history. The 16-time Grammy winner performed some of her biggest hits before her Destiny’s Child bandmates joined her on stage. She was rocking a custom Rubin Singer leather bodysuit that was trimmed with python and lace. We were also treated to intense choreography, elaborate sets (loved when the stage turned into weave) and outstanding LIVE vocals! Lurrrved it!

Bey performs ‘Love on Top’, ‘Crazy in Love’, ‘End of Time’ and ‘Baby Boy’. Destiny’s Child comes on for ‘Bootylicious’, ‘Independent Women’ and ‘Single Ladies’ . She then concludes with ‘Halo’.

My only disappointment? She didn’t debut her new single.

I get why she didn’t debut her new single. During an interview she said she wanted fan involvement and participation. If she performed her new single, she would have alienated the entire nation….that isn’t want a show is supposed to be.

Kinda disappointed..when i look back Madonna’s stage set it was more elaborate…beyonce’s own look so basic in comparison…but her performance was good and i liked the destiny’s child reunion.

I don’t think it was bad but, it’s the same show she’s performed for the past 10 yrs. I know the CIL routine by heart and she was careful not to sing during the heavy choreography.

I agree with both the stans and haters. Epic and disappointing. On the one hand I’m slayed by the additional End of Time choreography and the special effects and on the other hand I’m unzombifiably dead at the volume of Kelly and Michelle’s mics. Best part of the show was that line as Halo begun:”Everybody put your hands towards me.” LMFAO!

Yeah nothing new here and I am dissappointed the best part was Kelly and Michelle coming out and performing they even did Single Ladies I was shocked. And am i the only one who thought Michelle looked amazing, she actually looked her age which is rare.
Overall it was okay but I honestly think that what Janet did with just two and a half songs was much better than what Beyonce just did with 8.

I cant wait to watch the haters pour in with their cranked up faces, mad at the world tonight because BEYONCE killed it. She didnt leave room for any criticism so I am interested to see what pathetic straw they will grasp on to. Way to go B, you are a legend!

I’m personally disappointed because there wasn’t that epic moment, where you can say She nailed it. The whole performance was stuff we seen since beginning of her career, the ending was basic. i’m not the biggest beyonce fan, but still i was waiting for that moment too prove me wrong, to bad she didn’t. PS my favorite part was when Kelly Rowland came out because she’s always been my favorite from Destiny’s Child.

It didn’t blow me away either. Yeah it was the same old stuff that everyone’s seen over and over again. I guess we were waiting for something new, like the introduction of a new single. The only thing that blew me away, personally, was seeing Kelly and Michelle dancing to Single Ladies. I just wished they danced it all the way to the end with Beyonce

The only thing missing is the “epic” part. She basically recycled the same performances she has been doing for years and for every award show and concert. We should be praising the technicians for the effects and pyrotechnics, because that made the show. Same old Beyonce performance.

honestly i thought the performance was good but there was nothing new about it. It seemed like every other Beyonce performance. She sang great and gave energy but she always does. No real innovation.
