Soul sista Melanie Fiona has been on the promotional tip lately, helping Michael Bolton promote his upcoming Motown covers album ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough: Tribute Hitsville’. The pair dropped by ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’ to perform a soulfully stirring rendition of Marvin Gaye‘s ’60s classic ‘Ain’t Nothing Like the Real Thing’, which just so happens to be one of my mum’s personal favourites.
Now this is how you deliver a live performance, people. Melanie has confirmed work on her third studio album and she is also set to release her new music video for her Grammy-nominated single ‘Wrong Side of a Love Song’ in the coming weeks. Look out for it!
