Mariah Carey‘s lead single from her new album has yet to be announced but fans can still enjoy fresh music from her really soon. New soundtrack single ‘Almost Home’ will feature in the upcoming Disney film ‘Oz the Great & Powerful’, which stars Michelle Williams, Mila Kunis and James Franco. The track will be released on February 19th, courtesy of her label Island Def Jam, and the film will premiere in the States on March 8th.

In related news, her longterm producer pal Jermaine Dupri gushes about a “crazy” new song he’s been pitching DAILY for her new album. He goes on to say he’s not certain whether it will see the light of day but reckons it could be the radio hit that she badly needs. We all know he hasn’t been able to revive her career since the flawless ‘Emancipation’, so of course we’ll have to wait and see how THAT pans out.
