Grammy week kicks off with the 4th Annual Essence ‘Black Women in Music’ event which took place last night in West Hollywood. Solange was honoured at Greystone Manor Supperclub where she entertained guests with music from her ‘True’ EP. Some of R&B’s leading ladies were in attendance, including Kelis, Jill Scott, Dawn Richard, Tamia and Estelle. All of them were there to celebrate their fellow females. Why? where is her sister with this single and 2 months before a worldwide tour. I’m taking the management compliments back. She needs to pace promo and allow the public to engage prior to touring. If she misses the 25th deadline she’s going to slump in North America from limited promo and being on tour. That means her first single will not see proper treatment until June. Damn Beyonce IM cheering for you but her self management skills are not well calculated.
