Ciara has struggled to get a hit record over the years and all of her recent singles have bombed – from ‘Sweat’ to ‘Sorry’, right down to ‘Got Me Good’. When an established artist struggles to sell, doesn’t their stock kind of dry up as well? However, Epic Records held a special event/dinner yesterday to honour the ‘Goodies’ singer at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills which was sponsored by cosmetics giant Le Metier De Beaute. I don’t even know what to say. Obviously, Le Metier De Beaute have more money than sense.

Later that day, Ciara attended a special Pre-Grammy showcase for Epic artist, Ginny Blackmore at Beachers Madhouse, Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood. The event was held by Epic label boss LA Reid. In more important news, fans can purchase Ciara’s new album ‘One Woman Army’ sometime in the foreseeable future.
