The Grammy Awards was pretty much a snoozefest this year, and it DID feel like the CMAs. I’m not hating on country music at all but it just felt that way. However, it was the star-studded Bob Marley tribute that proved quite the standout. Bruno Mars kicked it all off with his hit single ‘Locked Out of Heaven’. Then the legendary Sting joined him on stage which I felt was rather fitting since Bruno’s song is a blatant Police rip.

Rihanna then joined them for a cover of ‘Is This Love’, so that she could pay honour to her idol. The performance received further momentum when Marley’s two sons Ziggy and Damian came on stage. It was so feel-good and vibrant! My only gripe is that I wished Rihanna was given a bigger part. Reggae does not make my top five in favoured musical genre but if this was at the club and everyone was giving off those vibes I’d join in and have such a great time! Even Chris Brown rose to his feet and enjoyed what was being put out!
