The opening ceremonies of London’s Fashion Week saw Rihanna present her River Island Autumn/Winter 2013 collection last night. The collection was met with mixed reviews, with the Daily Beat calling it “slutty and tiresome”. However, Elle magazine’s fashion director appraised it as “high fashion” and a “nod to the street style of the 1980’s”.

Elle had nice things to say of course prior to Rihanna shooting the cover of Elle UK’s April issue as soon as she hit London. Rihanna’s imprint were most definitely seen in the designs. I’ve seen her rock some of these looks previously. I wouldn’t wear them myself to be honest, but would YOU? Check ‘em out below!
