Many of us are excited about hearing Beyoncé‘s new album, but no one is more excited than Ne-Yo! He tells DS that he’s “happy” to have two songs on the record after seeing what looks to be a very fake tracklist that surfaced online earlier this week.

“I saw that Beyoncé’s tracklisting just leaked and I’ve got a couple of joints on there, which is good news. I’m very happy about that”. For those not in the know, the alleged tracklist has collaborations with Lady Gaga, Azealia Banks, Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Sia, Rihanna, Ne-Yo and Solange. If this sounds too good on paper, that’s because it bloody well is!

He says he does not know if the tracklist is fake or real and we’ll just have to wait and see when the album comes out. In the mean time, check out another quote on what he has to offer towards one of the most anticipated albums of the year.

On the process of working with Beyoncé on the LP:

“I’ve heard some songs from the album so I knew what direction I should be going in. The last thing you want to do is write a song that makes no sense with the direction of the album, so she let me hear some stuff so I knew where to aim. I can’t say much else as I’ve been sworn to secrecy! I’m actually happy that no songs have leaked from it yet. Hopefully this is a sign for the future – that music can come out when it’s actually supposed to come out” Source.

Ne-Yo’s most successful Beyoncé hit was 2006′s ‘Irreplaceable’. I assume he won’t be talking about how much percentage of songwriting he allows her to get, since this is a very touchy subject and one that may have cost him a contribution to ‘I Am… Sasha Fierce’! As for this new single, hurry up! We want to see her perform it on tour!
