The original Sugababes, now known as Mutya Keisha Siobhan unleash a new ‘unofficial’ cut titled ‘Lay Down In Swimming Pools’.

The track is lifted from their recording sessions with Solange’s producer Dev Hynes (he posted the track on his Soundcloud). The sultry number is built around a Kendrick Lamar sample, alongside some lush harmonies and flawless vocal arrangements. This is seriously hot! If their album took on this direction, I’d be excited. Mutya’s vocals have grown real deep, and Keisha backs up Siobhan nicely on the verses. If this is just a scrap done for sh*ts and giggles, can you imagine how good their material will sound?

Last month, the girls spent time in LA recording their new album with Hynes and legendary power ballad songwriter Diane Warren. This may be something they did just for fun but they are giving us a teaser of their forthcoming vocals and this is something to rejoice at. Take a listen to their latest offering below.
