Announced today was Beyoncé‘s forthcoming H&M campaign, which will come with brand new music!
For the campaign she will front H&M’s summer collection, in which she contributed towards the designing. She will also feature in television commercials, print ads and billboards in support of the high-street chain and their clothing line. The campaign’s accompanying commercial was masterminded by ‘Telephone’ director Jonas Åkerlund and features a new Beyoncé song called ‘Standing on the Sun’. The still ads were shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin in the sunny land of Nassau Bahamas.
The location was obviously chosen to give the commercial a tropical vibe, hence the song title. Print and outdoor spots shout out a nod to her upcoming sell-out world tour with the caption, ‘Beyoncé as Mrs. Carter in H&M’. The collection will be available in stores and online starting in May. The campaign also sees B following in the same footsteps as Lana Del Rey who fronted the ads campaign for H&M last year. Click here to read more on H&M’s exciting new partnership with Beyoncé. This chick seems to be announcing everything these days but a new single. Hopefully, the wait will be worthwhile.
