Dear Justin Timberlake, you proved quite the smooth operator with your Brit Awards performance earlier tonight.

‘Mirrors’ is actually a good song, but you were looking like a fusion of Frank Sinatra (outfit) and David Beckham (hair). Nice perm boy! Miss your luscious curls from back in the day. Each strand had serious sex appeal! Anyway, congrats on you and Jay-Z headlining the UK’s Wireless festival this July. That should be quite a gig. I’d see you on tour but this big band, tux type stuff is becoming quite unnerving. We get enough of that from Bruno Mars as it is.

Justin Timberlake will officially perform live at the 2013 Brit Awards. The announcement comes after unconfirmed reports of Beyonce taking to the stage at the February 10th ceremony. JT will appear at London’s 02 Arena joining a very solid line-up that includes Robbie Williams, Rita Ora, Emeli Sande, Muse and Mumford and Sons.

“We are thrilled to add him to a stellar line-up that will celebrate an amazing year of music and make this one of the strongest BRIT live shows to date” reads a statement. The last time he appeared at the Brits was in 2003 when he cheekily pinched Kylie Minogue‘s bum during a performance. What tricks does he have up his sleeve this time?

According to reports today, Beyonce will be performing at the Brit Awards next month. On February 20th, King B will reportedly take to the stage at London’s O2 arena just a few weeks after her performance at the massive Stateside sporting event, the Super Bowl. The performance would be a big deal for Bey. She has not performed at the Brits since nine years ago when she debuted her lead single ‘Crazy In Love’.

The 2013 Brit Awards were announced earlier today and some of our favourites picked up big. Scottish singer-songwriter Emeli Sandé leads the pack with four nominations (British Female, British Album for ‘Our Version of Events’ and British Single for ‘Next To Me’ and her feature on Labrinth‘s ‘Beneath Your Beautiful’). Rita Ora also snags three nods (British Breakthrough Act and two in the British Single category for ‘R.I.P.’ and ‘Hot Right Now’ with DJ Fresh). Rihanna is nominated twice (British Single for her duet with Coldplay, ‘Princess of China’ and International Female Solo Artist).

Bruno Mars had by far the best live vocal on the Brit Awards last night! I love watching his sets because he puts definition into what a real live voice should sound like. The pint sized singer wowed with his global smash ‘Just The Way You Are’ and took home the honour for International Male Solo Artist. His win certainly makes up for not picking up any of the main Grammy Awards little over a week ago with first his album ‘Doo-Wops & Hooligans’. Very well deserved. During his acceptance speech, he promised fans that his second album was on its way.

I officially want to boycott the Brit Awards. Their piss poor camera editing and increasingly annoying cut aways for each time Rihanna started dancing during ‘We Found Love’ was just teeth gritting to say the least. So thanks a lot Brit Awards camera people for your sucky ass editing and deprivation of a worthy performance. It would have been nice to see Rihanna dancing and not her 1,000 backup dancers for crying out loud. The performance was not as great as the one performed at the Grammys, but she definetely had the best performance of the night in my opinion.

With Adele finding happiness and enjoying some peen at last, you’d think she’d now add a speck of colour to her wardrobe. But she stays dressed like she’s still in mourning. Perhaps she was attending the funeral for crushing everyone elses record sales. As she took to the stage at tonight’s Brit Awards, she enlightened London’s O2 Arena by performing her smash single ‘Rolling In The Deep’. During the ceremony, she picked up awards for Best British Female and Best British Album for ’21′. Yet again, this was just another awards show for her to sweep!

This year’s 2012 BRIT Award nominations have been announced. Chart heavyweights, Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Rihanna have secured themselves a nod in a major category. No need for fans to be annoyed at either of them not being nominated more than once. Hello! ‘BRIT’ awards! This is an awards show for UK based artists. In all honesty, there’s nothing else either of them could be nominated in, so fans should be happy at what they got!
