Representing the UK’s finest talent, Emeli Sandé and Jessie J took to the stage on last night’s ‘American Idol’ Finale to perform with the finalists. Jennifer Hudson did so too, and it was a real power house fest.

Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson and Brit sensation Adele both performed at last night’s 85th Annual Academy Awards at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
J. Hud belted out ‘And I Am Telling You’ from Dreamgirls, the very film that won her an Oscar back in 2007. A standing-o well deserved as she took us to church! Adele took home her first Oscar for Best Original Song, and gave us a very powerful performance of her winning track ‘Skyfall’, the ‘James Bond 007: Skyfall’ theme. The Oscars really did give me ALL of my musical feels and more! Check it all out below!
Tonight’s Super Bowl saw Grammy winning singer Jennifer Hudson being assisted by students from Sandy Hook Elementary School for a powerful, very emotional performance of ‘America the Beautiful’. The performance was in honour of the 26 children and faculty members that were tragically killed during the mass shooting in Newtown, Connecticut, little over a month ago. J.Hud did a really nice job vocally, and she was bringing home that raw, organic gospel to football.

Because Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Hudson are set to tribute the late legend Donna Summer at the 28th annual ‘Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’ ceremony on April 18th. You can catch their performances when the show airs May 18th, courtesy of HBO. Aggy and J.Hud previously shared a stage when they both tributed the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin at the 2011 Grammy Awards.
Back then they actually did a good job. BUT, as those two trail further into their 30s, their vocal control seems to have hit a mid-life crisis. Hopefully that is not the case this time around. Will they deliver?

Tissues galore! President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama enjoyed the soulful warblings of Jennifer Hudson as they danced to her melting rendition of Al Green‘s classic ‘Let’s Stay Together’. The moment took place during the Inaugural Ball at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center on January 21st in Washington, D.C. Servicemen and women were also honoured at the event.
The First Lady appeared in a stunning red dress, designed by Jason Wu who also created her gown for 2009′s inaugural celebration. The dance came following President Obama’s sworn in ceremony for his second term earlier in the day.

The latest Whitney Houston tribute will be a concert next month, entitled ‘We Will Always Love You: A Grammy Salute to Whitney Houston’. R&B stars Usher, Jennifer Hudson and R. Kelly are the first performers announced to honour the late diva. Although the one-hour special will be filmed on October 11th at the Nokia Theatre, it won’t see a broadcast until November on CBS. The show will consist of unseen footage and exclusive interviews from several artists cherishing her memory.
Powerhouse Jennifer Hudson joins the legendary Prince at his ‘Welcome 2 Tour’ in Chicago. The duo perform his classic ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’, the very song he performed with veteran Mary J. Blige at the 2012 iHeartRadio Music Festival several days ago.
