BBC One has confirmed today that it will broadcast Beyoncé‘s headlining concert at Twickenham stadium in London next week. The show, titled ‘Beyoncé & Friends Live at Twickenham’, will air on June 1st at 10:50pm.

Mariah Carey to kick off ‘GMA: Summer Concert Series’…

Mariah Carey has officially been confirmed to kick off ‘Good Morning America: Summer Concert Series’ on May 24th.

This announcement pretty much confirms that we will hear MC’s new single next month. She is stated to have shot the music video already, which reportedly features Miguel. The concert series is one week ahead of the American Idol finale on May 16th, so might she perform the track there too? Check out the full performer list below.

The first single from John Legend‘s fourth studio album, ‘Love In The Future’ debuted earlier today. The track is called ‘Who Do We Think We Are’ and it features rapper Rick Ross. Legend’s new album is executive-produced by Kanye West and Dave Tozer and set to arrive in stores on June 25th via Columbia/G.O.O.D. Music. Take a listen to ‘Who Do We Think We Are’ after the cut.

New Music: John Legend – ‘The Beginning’…

R&B maestro John Legend today drops a new song called ‘The Beginning’, which is the official lead single off his upcoming fourth studio album, ‘Love In The Future’.

The soulful track commences with some soothing piano riffs before those suave, chilled out drums kick in. Although some of the high notes are hit and miss, the baritone crooner still manages to compliment the love cut in certain areas with those buttery vocals. I’ve been many a fan of his music, but I’m not really liking this song very much. It’s been five years since he dropped his last album ‘Evolver’, and I was hoping for something a little more light and fun with some feel-good sentiments.

NBA All-Star performances: Alicia Keys, Ne-Yo & John Legend…

R&B plagued the NBA All-Star show last night when Alicia Keys, Ne-Yo & John Legend all took to the stage! Alicia performed ‘Empire State of Mind (Part 2)’, ‘Girl on Fire’ ‘No One’ and ‘New Day’. It would seem AK is losing her voice from singing ‘Girl On Fire’ a little too much. The vocals were pretty shot and the performance could easily have been used in an advert to plug a cough medicine.

Meanwhile, John had the National Anthem sounding like a gospel service. It was like he was singing for every man that’s felt pain and struggled. Those spiritual, preachy choir vocals oozed butter on a hot stack of pancakes. All hearty, warm and soulful!

John Legend previews new song, announces album title & US tour…

Not only has John Legend previewed a new song from his upcoming new album ‘Love in the Future’, he has also announced a new Stateside tour (click here for dates and venues). Tickets go on sale this week!

The new song you’re about to hear in the clip, is entitled ‘Caught Up’, which was co-written by Kanye West and produced by Hit-Boy. Legend is executive-producing the project himself alongside Kanye and Dave Tozer. ‘Caught Up’ sounds GREAT!!!! I’m anticipated.
