VH1 Divas 2012 announce very questionable performance line-up…

The performance line-up for Vh1 Divas 2012 has been announced. With the show honouring the late great Whitney Houston and Donna Summer, fans will be gagging in shock at the line-up. A line-up that consists of Ciara, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland and Jordin Sparks. Yes people, Miley Cyrus and Ciara! And just when you thought last years line-up with Nicki Minaj and Keri Hilson couldn’t get any worse. Where are the powerhouse divas at? Who are they going to get next year? Rebecca Black?

Snapshots: Jordin Sparks covers ‘Ebony’ & ‘Redbook’…

Jordin Sparks and her ‘Sparkle’ co-stars grace the September 2012 issue of EBONY magazine. The movie, a remake of the 70′s classic, hits Stateside theaters next Friday. Beautiful cover. Since losing 50lbs, Jordin has been booking loads of magazine covers lately.

If you weren’t over her stunning, scantily-clad ‘Shape’ cover, she’s been flaunting her svelte new body on Redbook magazine as well (out on August 14th). The 22-year-old talks about her diet, late idol Whitney Houston, boyfriend Jason Derulo, Hollywood and more. Check out some excerpts here. Whether Jordin was ever fat is controversial but she sure looks pretty damn amazing from where I’m sitting!

Stream: ‘Sparkle’ (soundtrack)…

You can now listen to the entire ‘Sparkle’ soundtrack featuring Whitney Houston and Jordin Sparks. Most of the songs are written and produced by R. Video Premiere: Whitney Houston & Jordin Sparks – ‘Celebrate’…

Whitney Houston and Jordin Sparks‘ new song ‘Celebrate’ is such a happy track, but you can’t help but feel an underlying sadness when watching the video. It just makes Whitney no longer being here hit that little bit harder. However, it was a lovely tribute seeing the entire cast of ‘Sparkle’ getting together to celebrate the life of the late icon and it was done in such a classy way too. Jordin has never looked better.

Whitney will be tributed by her mother Cissy Houston and other “top divas” at the 2012 BET Awards, which will broadcast live this coming Sunday on July 1st. ‘Sparkle’ will also hit theaters on August 17th. Rest in peace Whitney!
