It’s really not a good look when your own fans don’t know the lyrics to your songs. Over the weekend, Keyshia Cole harshly gave a fan the hush finger when she mistakenly sang KC’s parts to ‘Woman to Woman’. KC brought out the fan during her ‘Woman to Woman’ tour stop at the Club Nokia in Los Angeles. The fan was suppose to sing Ashanti‘s parts but she didn’t know the lyrics and had to mime them instead. So look who’s come out of hibernation. R&B singer Lil Mo has been off the radar for a loooong time now but she recently spotlighted herself defending Beyoncé. Showcasing her support for Beyoncé’s buzz cut ‘Bow Down’, Mo tells Keyshia Cole to “sit down and get off Twitter” during an interview with HipHollywood. I watched this last night after a Twitter follower of mine directed me to the clip and just laughed my merry way to bed. The way it was coming out was more entertaining then the actual context of what was being said. She REALLY speaks like that huh? I wonder if KC now regrets coming for Beyoncé because she’s been getting some serious heat as of late. For anyone that cares, you may no longer be hearing Mo on your radio, but you can still check for her on TV One’s hit reality show ‘R&B Divas LA’ later this fall.

The ever outspoken Keyshia Cole has responded to The-Dream‘s declaration that he will not work with her again after she spoke negatively of Beyonce‘s buzz cut ‘Bow Down’. KC took to her favourite social network Twitter to address The-Dream’s rather controversial declaration. She says: “Dream not writing any songs for me is fine. I’m on my 6th album… He’s only wrote 1 song on 1 of my albums, which I did love, God Bless”. The song is called ‘Hey Sexy’, which is track #10 on her latest album ‘Woman To Woman’. As for her response, whoa I’m shocked. She kept it real classy! Not what I expected from her AT ALL! I know her crazy stans targeted her Twitter earlier today when Beyonce’s teaser (for her Pepsi commercial allegedly) came out. Lesson learned it seems but sadly, the damage has already been done.

And the REAL backlash begins. When Keyshia Cole spoke negatively of Beyoncé‘s ‘Bow Down’, it was expected that a queue of producers would blacklist the singer. Beyonce is a well respected artist so when you mess with her, you mess with an entire village. During an interview with ‘The Breakfast Club’, super producer The-Dream was asked whether he would work with KC after her negative remarks. To which he responded: “Right now because of what happened I can’t and I think she would respect why I can’t. That’s [Beyonce] my family. You’re talking about my family and you can’t do that”. With The-Dream being first to publicly take this plight, other high-profile producers are expected to follow pursuit, signalling bad news for KC. We just know he’s securing his lucrative brand by keeping it loyal to Beyoncé. Family my ass.

R&B’s latest instigator kicked off her ‘Woman to Woman’ tour this week. One of Keyshia‘s tour stops included the Chrysler Hall in Norfolk, VA, with Chrisette Michele serving as her support act. Nice to see Keyshia putting all her priorities into the music. Despite her controversial Twitter rants and making a whole lot of enemies along the way, people still pay to see her hot-headed ass perform. Not everyone had good things to say about Beyonce‘s new song ‘Bow Down’ when she premiered it last night. In fact, some people took offense to it, including the very outspoken Keyshia Cole!

On the Hit-Boy produced song, Bey goes on a curse-fest telling “bitches” to “bow down”, because she’s on her A game. KC expressed  disapproval of the song’s overly confident stance and lack of female unity: “Can’t stand when people all self righteous when it’s convenient it makes them look good” she wrote “First ‘women need to stick together’, now bitches better Bow. Smh. But it’s all G! Chicks stay shooting the shit. But when I speak my mind its a prob”.

When Rolling Stone asked Kelly Rowland to comment on Keyshia Cole‘s criticism of Michelle Williams‘ performance at the Super Bowl, she delivered some stern words to Ms Hood chick!

“It didn’t even make it on my radar until other people brought it up. It didn’t even matter. We had a wonderful performance, and that’s all I cared about. I was with my sisters and the three of us matter to each other, and that’s all that counts. We matter to a lot more people, with all due respect, than her. So, I really don’t care what she said” replied the feisty songbird.

Controversial singer Keyshia Cole has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons lately!

If she’s not publicly sparring with Michelle Williams, her sister or the entire universe, she’s fiercely disputing negative rumours about her marriage. But today, the focus was put solely back on her career after she officially announced dates for her upcoming Stateside tour. Keyshia’s ‘Woman to Woman’ tour kicks off on March 28th in Westbury New York at the NYCB Theatre and concludes in her hometown, Oakland at the Fox Theater.
