Those who attended the European trek of Beyonce‘s tour will know Luke James has vocal chops for days. And those were on full display when he recently performed an acoustic set on BBC 1Xtra for CJ‘s SoundCheck.
During a chat with Urban Fusions TV, Luke James confirms his debut album ‘Made to Love’ will drop in stores on July 16th, 2013.
The day before the interview, he suffered a minor injury in which a light had fallen on his neck, hence the brace. After a long wait, fans can finally get their hands on the project.
It has been announced today that R&B newcomer Luke James will serve as the opening act for the European leg of Beyoncé‘s ‘Mrs. Carter Show’ world tour. In a press statement, she adds: “Luke James is a gifted singer and songwriter and what he does on stage with his pure falsetto is incredible. I am excited to have him join the tour and to introduce this soulful singer to an audience in Europe that will be discovering a true star”.
The crooner also opened for Beyoncé’s Revel Beach residency last year, but as he is unknown to Europe, this will serve as a real introduction. Luke is such a tremendous talent and hearing those power vocals on a live platform will be absolutely amazing.
