The original Sugababes, now known as Mutya Keisha Siobhan unleash a new ‘unofficial’ cut titled ‘Lay Down In Swimming Pools’.

The track is lifted from their recording sessions with Solange’s producer Dev Hynes (he posted the track on his Soundcloud). The sultry number is built around a Kendrick Lamar sample, alongside some lush harmonies and flawless vocal arrangements. This is seriously hot! If their album took on this direction, I’d be excited. Mutya’s vocals have grown real deep, and Keisha backs up Siobhan nicely on the verses. If this is just a scrap done for sh*ts and giggles, can you imagine how good their material will sound?

The original Sugababes line-up are almost back! MKS known as Mutya, Keisha & Siobhan, have given us a first preview of their new music since reuniting last year. In some new footage, the girls perform an acapella of a new song ‘Boys’, while showing off their solid harmonies!

Still checking for Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan? Well, the former Sugababes made their first red carpet appearance since reuniting at last night’s Q Awards. MKS chat to ITN about their new group and plans for their new album. They didn’t spill on anything that we didn’t already know, and minor details are being kept underwraps, but at least they sound excited.

The original Sugababes, Mutya Keisha Siobhan have given us an exciting update about their musical comeback. Today, they have announced that we should hear a new single from them before the end of the year, and this news was complemented with the below photo, showing them toasting on the very day they signed their record deal with Polydor.

Yes! Looking like they stepped right off the shores of 1998, we’re loving it! Hopefully, they come out with something that is in your face, radio friendly and catchy. Something that will show us they are back and why they should never have disbanded in the first place. I wonder if Amelle, Heidi and Jade actually have plans to record new music again. I think they’ve split but to save face, they just don’t want to make it official. 

The original Sugababes – Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhán Donaghy have officially announced their reunion. They will now perform under the name ‘Mutya Keisha Siobhan’, which I thought was a joke at first. In my honest opinion, MKS would have been better but at least they’re back! The girl’s comeback album will reportedly feature production from Naughty Boy, Emeli Sande, MNEK, Asterix, Craze & Hoax and more.
