Get into the new music video for Mya‘s latest single ‘Mr Incredible’. Director Derek Brown went for a nostalgic home video feel giving us some 1970′s throwback realness. The afro wearing singer takes a foamy bath and prepares for a night of steamy passion, with her chocolate lover. Fans voted the track as their favourite jam from her latest album ‘K.I.S.S.’, which was released in the States earlier this year. This is why Mya decided to unwrap the visual last night on Christmas Day, because it was a gift to everyone that supported the album!

Random, but quite welcoming. Mya releases an unexpected music video from her independently released album ‘K.I.S.S’. The project has spawned another visual for ‘Take Him Out’, which involves the ageless singer pairing up with dancehall artist Spice for the Carnival-style, Island-flavoured cut. Watch Mya and Spice giving what for below.

Mya is currently in Australia to promote her latest album ‘K.I.S.S’. During her visit Down Under, she dropped by ‘Sunrise’ this morning to perform a medley of hits. Those included her hit singles ‘Case of the Ex’ and ‘Lady Marmalade’, as well as her newest track ‘Love Is The Answer’, a cut that caters to the popular dance market.

So, who owned the night club scene this weekend?
Mya, who has been privately promoting her latest album ‘K.I.S.S.’ hit up Aqua nightclub in Jacksonville, Florida to perform new and old songs from her eclectic music catalogue. A chick certainly knows how to wine those thick hips. Her fellow R&B vet Ashanti, who plans to release her new album ‘Braveheart’ in June, pretty much did the same thing at Vlive Chicago nightclub in Chicago.
Meanwhile, Leona Lewis took to the stage at the Cavalli nightclub for an after party VIP show in Dubai. She took part in their Atelier Live Music Festival. In a recent interview, the singer says she wants her new album ‘Glassheart’ to be timeless. “We are just vibing and seeing what inspires us and creating. Taking things to the next level. I want to make an album that’s timeless. That takes a while to come to fruition but worthwhile in the end” she says.

Over the weekend, R&B songstress Mya went on a European promo tour in support of her new album ‘K.I.S.S’. The album was released in the States recently, and in Japan last year. Her dutch fans saw the singer perform a concert at Central Studios Utrecht in Holland with a setlist of songs from her earlier albums as well as cuts from the new LP. The first ever performance of ‘Mess Up My Hair’ and ‘Earthquake’ has been included in the 15-minute video below.
Mya‘s new album ‘K.I.S.S. (Keep It Sexy and Simple)’ is set to be released worldwide on Valentine’s Day (February 14th). As a result, the singer has just released ‘Mess Up My Hair’ as a new single, which you can now download on iTunes or Amazon.
‘Hair’ is definetely one of the stronger tracks on ‘K.I.S.S.’ The song itself knocks quite hard and has a Rihanna-esque ‘What’s My Name?’ sort of vibe, or at least it adopts those similar drums. As much as I think the song knocks, I wished she had the right people and funds for this to get the proper promotional campaign that it’s deserving of. It is such a waste! Oh, and that’s um, interesting artwork for a single cover. Mya’s certainly got back!
R&B songstress Mya is known for much more than her amazingly shimmering thighs. And last night, those are what got everyone’s attention when she hosted a release party for her latest album ‘K.I.S.S’. The party, which took place at Club Play on Miami Beach, saw the 32-year-old celebrating the album’s Stateside distribution which is currently out on iTunes. Mya looked absolutely gorgeous (not really feeling the dress). She has not aged since making her debut in 1998.

The US edition of Mya’s new album ‘K.I.S.S.’ hit iTunes earlier today (at present, it is #5 on Amazon’s Best Sellers in Contemporary R&B). Click here to make your purchase! Mya has included several new additions to the Stateside release, so you get a slightly different tracklisting from the Japanese release. The LP was released independently in Japan back in April. We’ve posted a couple of the new additions already and here’s a new one in the form of ‘Take Him Out’. The carnival-flavoured ‘Take Him Out’ features dancehall diva Spice and it makes you want to dance, dance, dance!
It makes me want to dance! In fact, ‘Take Him Out’ is so infectious it’s the type of track that makes us ladies want to grind ourselves upon an insanely hot fella at the club!

Mýa released her second single ‘Somebody Come Get This Bitch’ to iTunes several hours ago and it features Stacie and Lacie. ‘Bitch’ serves as some form of promotion for the Stateside and Canadian release of her new album ‘K.I.S.S.’, which was released over in Japan earlier this year. Over in the States, Mya will release the album on December 20th. Although I have loved Mya from the beginning of time, ‘Bitch’ is a hot doo-doo mess. Over a strong synth bass, bursting with 90s style pop and dance elements, ‘Bitch’ sees Mya sing-talking about her disdain for chicks with lack of self-respect.
Mya scorns on the type of chick that likes to have her “cooch hanging out”. She certainly stays calling somebody a bitch in her songs, but if I’m totally honest, I think Mya is way too old to be singing these kind of songs. Next.

Mya has unveiled the official artwork for her new single ‘Earthquake’. The Trina-assisted cut was produced by Young Yonny and will recieve a digital release tomorrow (Dec 6th).
Mya looks very sexy on the cover and she has no qualms about flaunting her curves. As reported recently, the R&B songstress will release her new album ‘K.I.S.S.’ (Keep It Sexy & Simple) on December 20th. You can listen to a snippet of the song over at Amazon. And click here to read Mikey‘s review of the track.
