Showing off those underrated vocal chops, Nicole Scherzinger paid homage to Andrew Lloyd Webber for his 40 year achievements in the industry. In doing so, she performed one of his original arrangements for the now iconic ‘Don’t Cry for Me Argentina’. The track was made famous by Madonna in 1995 from the film adaptation of Evita. She looks good, sounds good but it stops right there sadly. Nicole should seriously contemplate doing Broadway full time because an international pop career is just not happening for her. Not today. Not tomorrow. Not EVER.

I really respect Toni Braxton for retiring because while she’s had legendary success, she knew when to throw in the towel. The difference is, Toni has a looong catalogue of amazing songs and Nicole does not. They couldn’t even formulate some statistics for her X Factor intros. That says a lot.

Nicole Scherzinger continues to torture poor viewers by performing her ear-bleeding new single ‘Boomerang’ on ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’.

This serves as the final plug because the single just got released today in the UK (March 10th). See here folk, America will not stand for this tripe, so she unloads on us British souls instead. The performance was boring so don’t waste your time watching it (her Comic Relief performance was more energetic). The interview was slightly more interesting. She says the album is not finished yet and she doesn’t intend to rush it. And she didn’t leave the Pussycat Dolls. They left HER. Um, we don’t believe you.

Nicole Scherzinger delivers a live energetic performance of latest single ‘Boomerang’ for the BBC’s ‘Let’s Dance for Comic Relief’ last night.

Aside from the mist, polytechnics and obvious backing track, we’d say it’s a pretty good damn job Nicole knows how to perform well. Because quite literally, this is what she will need to do in order to carry a poor song like this one. The will.i.am-produced cut was pants several weeks ago, and it is still pants now. But if ya like it, download it on March 10th. Until then, watch the performance below.

Video Premiere: Nicole Scherzinger – ‘Boomerang’…

Nicole Scherzinger has debuted the music video for ‘Boomerang’, the first single off her upcoming second studio album. The visual entails an edgy looking Nicole dancing in front of a spotlighted wall and wearing various black outfits, as she sings about the fight for love. Most of the visual was aided with cheap digital images and computerised effects.

The quality you normally associate to a lead single was absent from this video, making it very painful to watch. ‘Scream & Shout’ with Britney Spears uses similar effects and the connection is, will.i.am produced this song, so I would not even be surprised if he pitched some ideas!

New Music: Nicole Scherzinger – ‘Boomerang’ (first single)…

Nicole Scherzinger premieres her new single ‘Boomerang’ today, lifted from her upcoming second solo album. The track was produced by her bestie will.i.am and the accompanying music video will debut tomorrow morning at 8am (GMT). Over a month later, ‘Boomerang’ will be released on March 10th.

The uptempo dance cut isn’t just standard generic but generic of the driest form. Honestly, she’s going to have to do much better than this if she’s aiming for global mass appeal, because this song just aint IT baby.

There has not been much hype surrounding Nicole Scherzinger‘s latest single ‘Boomerang’. However, she’s doing little things to change that, such as unmasking sizzling new promotional shots in support of the song’s radio premiere this coming Thursday. The track serves as the lead single from her sophomore album, the follow-up to 2011′s ‘Killer Love’. Is anyone here actually excited?

I mean, my response levels to hearing new music from her are the exact same ones I’d have if Rihanna announced her retirement from music and that’s being real. As for the music video, the visual is slated to premiere shortly after the song makes its debut.

Nicole Scherzinger announces ‘Boomerang’ premiere date…

Nicole Scherzinger has just announced the premiere date for her new single ‘Boomerang’. Sharing the news with her Instagram followers, the X Factor judge revealed that the song will be released in the UK before anywhere else. Yep. ‘Lucky’ us, I suppose.

The dance number serves as the lead single from her second solo studio album, the follow-up to 2011′s ‘Killer Love’. The track was originally slated for January 7th but has since been pushed back and will now impact UK radio on January 24th. A music video was already shot over the winter last year and that will premiere following the track’s official debut.

Snapshot: Nicole Scherzinger unveils official ‘Boomerang’ cover…

If you’ve been keeping up with Nicole Scherzinger, you’d know she is about to drop her new single ‘Boomerang’ on January 7th. The track will serve as the first single from her untitled sophomore album and she has just unwrapped the official artwork. The cover is really cheesy. I think it’s those random photoshop brushes, and looking like it could have been done in MS paint. She should have just left the image in its original state because that would have looked so much better.
